Welcome to MRRead! The much anticipated sequel to CTRead, MRRead is a new, original, and in-depth course dedicated to teaching residents how to interpret a MRI scan of the TMJ to identify signs of internal derangement. After completing this course, you will feel comfortable diagnosing all signs of internal derangement including anterior disc displacement (with and without reduction), cortical erosion, joint effusions, osteophytes, etc! Dr. Wendall Mascarenhas

Dr. Wendall Mascarenhas created CTRead and MRRead whilst a resident at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. His passion for education and research led him along with Dr. Daniel Richmond and Dr. Geneviève Chiasson to build a course that would educate residents on the interpretation of CT Facial Bones and MRI TMJ scans. He currently works in Private Practice in Toronto, Canada and is a part time faculty member at the University of Toronto's Oral and maxillofacial surgery Program.
